ANCILLARY ACTIVITIES DURING HARBOR FESTIVAL WEEKEND (SEPT. 30 – OCT. 2)
The replica ship “San Salvador” will be in the Harbor during the Harbor Festival .
It’s the maiden voyage of Juan Rodriquez Cabrillo’s Spanish Galleon, a full-scale replica built by the Maritime Museum of San Diego of the first European vessel to explore California’s coast. Onboard public tours and interactive historical exhibits will be available at Morro Bay’s South T Pier from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets and details are available at www.morrobaymaritime.org. Tickets will also be sold onsite. Easy access to and from the Festival site to the San Salvador can be done on the Morro Bay Trolley.
All Harbor Festival weekend, there will be a bounty of Embarcadero restaurants with seafood specials, live entertainment and more for Festival-goers to enjoy. Many will offer Sunday Brunches as well.
